A small, almost circular tarn to the north of Arnsbarrow Hill, Arnsbarrow Tarn lies in the moraine (depression) left by the glaciers that shaped the Coniston valley.

On the day I visited the weather was threatening to turn stormy again after a week of snow and sleet showers, so the pics aren't very good - a revisit will be required.
