Lily Tarn sits on the eastern end of Loughrigg Fell, above Clappersgate. A pretty little tarn, complete with an island containing a single birch tree, it also has fine views to the north and west.

If taking the footpath up from Clappersgate, there are also good views along the length of Windermere to the south.
